My nan meant the world to me. Since the death of my grandad, Len, only two months before, i did not expect her to give up so suddenly.
she had had a stroke some years before this and so this left her incapable of caring for herself. It was such a blow to see her walking around just being a shadow of her former self.
She cares deeply for her grand children and would do anything for them.
She loved to holiday in Germany with grandad and brought presents back for the family whenever she could.
Now, she rests with Len. her ashes scattered in cornwall and on her uncle's grave on the somme who she so wished to visit but her health was against her.
We all miss you and hope that you feel better now.
with all my love, tarrah for now xxxx
We little knew that morning
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
Always in our thoughts
Forever in our hearts
